How to Apply

NousSoma Is unable to accept applications at this time- Projected opening in 2026

NousSoma School of Massage Therapy is seeking students who genuinely recognize massage as a healing art, who enjoy caring for people, and who demonstrate a responsible and professional attitude toward their work.

Admissions/Entrance Requirements

  • Age – Applicants must be 18 years or older.

  • Education – High school diploma or equivalent, or homeschooling at the secondary level as defined by state law. A high school transcript is not required if official transcripts from a 2- or 4-year college are submitted.

  • Application – Submission of a completed application and medical history form.

  • Foreign transcripts – Official secondary/high school transcripts are required. If documents are not in English, an official translation must be included. NousSoma may request verification from a recognized evaluation agency to confirm U.S. high school equivalency. For information, contact the Admissions Office.

  • Interview – A personal interview with Admissions staff to discuss the program and tour the facility.

  • Physician’s note – Accepted students must provide a completed NousSoma physical exam form, signed by a licensed medical doctor, confirming they are in good physical and mental health and capable of performing and receiving both relaxation and deep tissue massage. The form will be provided after acceptance.

Acceptance
Applicants are evaluated based on the above criteria. NousSoma seeks students who value massage as a healing art and demonstrate professionalism and care for others. Admission decisions will be communicated in writing.

Enrollment Limitations
If minimum enrollment is not reached, NousSoma reserves the right to cancel the class and void any signed student contracts. Students will be offered either an alternative schedule or a full refund.

Small Class Sizes

To ensure personalized instruction, we keep our class sizes small. If minimum enrollment isn’t met, we may need to cancel a class. In that case, you will be offered another schedule or a full refund.
